“Because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, [Jesus] said to [his disciples], ‘Come [away] with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’ So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.” (Mark 6:31-32)

“Come away with me,” Jesus said to his disciples. “Come away with me,” he says to us.

As disciples of Jesus it is important to make space for Him to give our souls rest beyond our day to day. We as a community will be withdrawing from the pressures and demands of daily life to get away with Jesus to remind our souls where home and rest are: in Jesus.
